This too, is once again no joke. Flying cars have been tested throughout 2013, and obviously not yet released. This could lead to a breakthrough in technological transportation and earn themselves third on this list.

Fourth place goes to the technological advancement of proper voice recognition. Yes, it would be argued that voice recognition has been around far before 2013, however the development of programs such as Siri have really defined voice recognition and as such earned fourth on this list.

This is no joke, fifth on this list is the technological advancement of lab made food. This burger in the picture above was created in a lab, and is fully edible as well. This was a massive technological advancement of 2013 and as such rightfully deserves it’s place on this list.

Sixth goes to an amazing advancement called the Oculus Rift, or, in short, virtual reality. This technological advancement rightfully earns the sixth spot on this list due to it’s amazing possibilities in the gaming communities.
